I’m Jonas Zimmermann, an adult hobby pianist and the creator of KeepTrack: Musical Journey.
As I learned piano, my collection of books and pieces kept growing. My teacher also suggested music we could explore later. I wanted one place to organize what I already had, remember what came next, and share an overview with my teacher.
That was where KeepTrack started.
Over time, I wanted it to help during practice too. I began bringing sheet music into the app so I could keep it on my tablet, alongside tools such as a metronome, without always carrying every book with me.
Then came the challenge of practicing consistently. I read about dividing a session between warming up and working on pieces, but found it difficult to follow that structure on my own. Having a plan—and a prompt when it was time to move to the next phase—helped me put those intentions into practice.
KeepTrack grew from those everyday needs. Although my own journey began at the piano, I’m building it for fellow musicians learning any instrument: a place to organize your music, support your practice, and look back on your progress.
