In short

This website sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, uses no analytics or tracking tools and embeds no content from other providers. Fonts, images and scripts are delivered with the website itself. There is no contact form and no user account. The metronome on the homepage creates its sound only in your browser and sends no data.

Hosting and delivery

The website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested address, the previously visited page (referrer), browser and operating system details, the amount of data transferred and the status code. This is necessary to deliver the pages to your browser, keep the service stable and protect the website against attacks and abuse.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is a secure, reliable and fast website. I do not analyze server log files myself. Cloudflare processes the data as my processor under a contract according to Art. 28 GDPR and keeps it only as long as these purposes require.

Data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). See Cloudflare's privacy policy ↗ for more information.

Contact by email

If you email me, I process your email address, your name if you include it, the content of your message and the usual technical email details to answer your request.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request concerns a purchase or the use of the app, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise, based on my legitimate interest in answering requests. I delete your message once it is resolved, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage.

My mailbox is hosted by Gmail, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may also process data in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. See Google's privacy policy ↗ for more information.

Links to other websites

This website links to Apple's App Store and support pages and to my developer website on GitHub Pages. The other website is only contacted when you follow such a link, and that provider's privacy policy applies there. Apple handles in-app purchases through the App Store.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data I hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), and to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Just send me an email.

Right to object: Where I process data based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for me is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.

Further information

You are not required to provide personal data, but the website cannot be delivered without the connection data. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
